COMPLETE SYSTEM

The 2005-2008 Mustang V6 comes from the factory with 210 horsepower and 254 lb./ft. of torque. This Standard Output (non-cooled) Vortech supercharging system can safely increase this to 290 horsepower and 294 lb./ft. of torque at the factory redline using CA 91 Octane fuel.

Complete, fully calibrated supercharging systems are available for the Manual and Automatic Transmission 2005-2008 4.0L V6 Mustang, featuring the V-2 or V-3 Si-Trim centrifugal supercharger.

The S197 Mustang V6 systems utilize the ultra-efficient V-2 or V-3 compressor. Continued development in Vortech's Lab resulted in the V-3 Si-Trim model, which reaches a peak efficiency of 78% (SAE J1723 standard). The "i" stands for improved and with its new patented oil control system and state of the art centrifugal compressor stage these V-2 & V-3 Si-Trim units literally blow away the competition. High efficiency equates to less heat being generated, a reduction in power required to drive the compressor, and more net power being produced as a result. Less heat also equates to superior durability. Also, Vortech's supercharger systems weigh less than half of the low-tech competing brands.

All V-3 series superchargers have a self-contained lubrication system that makes installation fast and easy.
